GAZIPUR: A court here today sentenced five persons to death for killing a teenage boy in Kaliganj upazila of the district in 2008. Judge of Additional District and Sessions Court-1 Fazle Elahi Bhuiyan handed down the verdict against Shamim, Nur Islam, Saddam Hossain, Safikul and Babu. The court also fined them Taka 10,000 each. All of them are the residents of Brahmangaon village of the upazila. |
